The 2020 Hindley Winter Box Tops Collection | February 24th – 28th

The Box Tops For Education program is an easy way to raise money for Hindley. Each Box Top is worth 10 cents and around $1000 was raised last year for the PTO which went towards enrichment programs for our children.

The 2020 Hindley Winter Box Tops collection will take place February 24th-28th. Click here to view the flyer.

Please send in your old style paper Box Tops in a zip lock bag or envelope and give to your child’s teacher. As a reminder, the program is becoming digital therefore please only send in the old style Box Tops with a valid expiration date – you do not cut out the new style digital Box Tops but rather scan your receipt from those purchases. It will take some time before all products carry the new digital Box Tops image; all unexpired old style Box Tops will still be honored so please continue to collect these and send these in.

Use the app to claim the digital Box Tops – it takes seconds.

  1. Download the Box Tops for Education app from the App Store or Google Play and select “Hindley School”.
  2. When shopping, group Box Tops items together at checkout – this saves you having to scan the entire receipt to find eligible items.
  3. When you get home (or in the car!), open the app tap the scan button, snap a photo of your receipt and press submit. If the Box Tops items are at the top of your receipt you don’t need to scan the entire receipt. Receipts must be submitted within 14 days.
  4. Optional: click on the star icon and enter a teacher’s name to “give credit” to a specific classroom.

The earnings go directly into our Hindley account, no need to cut anything out or send anything to school. It takes seconds and is easy money for Hindley. Questions? Email Angela Boyle Altoe or text 203.918.4436.

A list of all the products that carry the Box Top label is available here. Take a look and see if there are any products that you regularly buy. They have a range of products including Annie’s, Nestle water, Cheerio’s, Lysol and Paper Mate stationary.

Every valid Box Tops clip is worth 10¢ for your school. Make sure each one has a clearly visible product acronym and expiration date.

NEW DIGITAL BOX TOPS – SCAN

Eventually the Box Tops program will become digital-only. Participating brands are starting to change their packaging from a traditional Box Tops clip to the new Box Top label.

If you see this label, use the new Box Tops app to scan your receipt. Box Tops are still worth 10¢ each for your school. The app will find participating products purchased at any store and instantly add cash to your school’s earnings online.

OLD PAPER BOX TOPS – CLIP

Traditional Box Tops clips are being phased out of production, but may continue to be found on many products throughout the store. You can still clip and send them to school.
