A second Kindergarten Daisy Girl Scout troop is forming at Hindley. Girl Scouts is a fantastic opportunity for the girls to put down their school books and take a breath of fresh air in the outdoors, make lifelong friends, and develop the key skills they need to take the lead in their own lives and the world.
What does a Daisy Girl Scout do?
- -meet once a month after school
- -earn Daisy petals related to the Girl Scout Law through activities and field trips
- -sell cookies to raise money for troop activities
- -march in the Darien Memorial Day parade
If your kindergarten daughter is interested in joining the new troop, please contact Amanda Warren at amandakwarren@gmail.com. We also need at least 2 parent volunteers to lead the troop, so please indicate if you are willing to volunteer.
