Turkey Drive

With the holidays approaching, the Kids Care Club would like to help out families who struggle to put food on their tables.   On Friday, November 18h from 7:30am to 8:30am, we will be hosting Hindley’s Fourth Annual Turkey Drive!  For this event, we will be collecting turkeys, chickens and hams for Person to Person’s clients.  Frozen turkeys are preferred, but fresh will also be accepted.  We can also accept grocery store gift cards for $15 or more that Person to Person’s clients can use to buy holiday food items. Gift cards are easier for Person to Person, because of limited refrigerator/freezer storage space.  We will also be collecting canned/boxed goods in the school lobby, beginning Nov. 7th.  The most needed items are canned corn, canned yams, canned green beans, canned fruit, canned pumpkin, stuffing, mac and cheese, gravy, and boxed mashed potatoes.  If you have any questions, please contact Michele Treacy, Christine Harris, Sarah True,or Jennifer Ward.
