Kids Care Club

Kids Care Club is a national organization dedicated to helping children develop the spirit of charity and pro-active compassion through hands on community projects. At Hindley, the club is open to any interested students (Kindergarten through Fifth grade).  This year, the club will meet one Wednesday a month from 3:00-4:00pm in the common room. At our first meeting on September 21,  we will be doing ice breakers (which the kids loved last year) , and giving back to our school community by decorating a bulletin board with local activity ideas for students who recently moved to Darien.  Other activities we are planning include the annual turkey drive, a project for the veterans, and a party with seniors.  If your child would like to join us, please email Michele Treacy with your child’s name, your name and any food allergies/restrictions your child may have. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Michele, Christine Harris, Sarah True, or Jennifer Ward.
