Darien YWCA Parent Awareness in partnership with Elementary School PTOs present “GUY TALK: What Every Boy Needs to Know About Puberty.” Thursday, April 20th from 6:30-8pm at Tokeneke Elementary School. This workshop is intended for boys approaching puberty (approximately ages 10-12) and their father or caretaker. Join Dr. Todd Palker from New England Pediatrics for a straightforward discussion on the physical and emotional changes of puberty where he will help teach your son about what to expect in the future. There will be Q&A at the end. Note: This is NOT a sex talk, it’s a starting point for further discussions about your son’s changing body.
