Monday 4/17 – Earth Week kick off with a virtual presentation from Soundwater!
Tuesday 4/18 – Trashless Tuesday. Students are encouraged to bring reusable lunch containers/water bottles in their lunch boxes. PTO parents will give raffle tickets to each student who participates. Students must bring their reusable containers with them to the lunchroom! A raffle prize will be awarded to one winner per grade in the form of a Gofer gift card!
Wednesday 4/19 – Person to Person clothing drive! A P2P truck will be at Hindley to accept your gently used clothing donations from 8am – 10am. 5th grade spirateers will help with collections!
Thursday 4/20 – Classroom Cleanup + HindleyBeautification/Garden Cleanup. We can use your help! Volunteer to put on those gardening gloves and help prep the school garden for the season. Friday 4/21 – Walk to School Friday! Students are encouraged to wear GREEN and/or BLUE to celebrate the earth and walk to school. The grade level with the highest percentage of participation will get an extra recess at the time of teachers’ choice. The DEI committee will include a parent walk from Hindley immediately following the walk to school for those who are interested!
