Due to unforeseen construction work at the Museum of Darien, the volunteer coffee has been relocated to the First Congregational Church of Darien, Library Room, 14 Brookside Road. We will still meet on November 10th at 10:00am, and instead of a tour of the Bates-Scofield house, we will show you one of the stops on our 5th grade bus tour. Please enter through the automatic, sliding glass doors to the right of the church’s front steps, and join us for coffee in the Library Room straight ahead on the right. Every year, Darien’s 3rd and 5th graders have field trips with the Museum of Darien, and we are looking for interested volunteers to join us!
Come for a coffee and learn more about volunteering with the Museum’s school educational programs.
No prior knowledge of history or of Darien required, just an interest in our town and our children.
