The Positive Side of Social Media for 5th to 8th graders by YWCA | Mar 9th

YWCA Parent Awareness is hosting a small, in person, round table discussion about how teens can use social media for good on March 9, 2022 from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at The Darien Depot

The content and discussion is designed to teach parents of 5th through 8th grade students that social media, used properly, can be a powerful tool. Parent Awareness has invited 3 Darien High School teens who have made a positive impact on our community through their social media use to come and speak about how they have successfully used different social media platforms for “good.”

We will learn from them how and why they made their decisions, and learn from them about what social media use decisions they would make now as High School students versus when they were in middle school.

The discussion will be moderated by psychologist Tara Levinson, PhD, NCSP.  Registration will be capped at 30 participants. To register:  www.ywcadn.org
