2020 Literacy Parent Workshops: Writing Workshop for Grades 3-8

In this workshop, parents will engage in and learn about the progression of writing instruction and expectations in grades 3-8. Parents will gain first-hand experience as they practice their own writing with instruction from classroom teachers. Finally, this workshop will provide parents with tools and tips to support their children at home. This workshop is part one of a series of three workshops that will be presented by the Literacy Team, Curriculum Directors and teachers this school year. All workshops will be recorded so that those who cannot attend can still benefit from the workshop. All recorded workshops are posted on the darienps.org website.
